This position is non-exempt and requires on-site presence, reporting directly to the General Manager. Housekeepers at J&P Hospitality are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, including extended-stay accommodations, as well as common areas such as hallways, stairwells, and lobbies. The role involves both routine cleaning and deeper cleaning tasks after guest departures, ensuring all rooms meet the company’s property standards of hygiene and appearance.

In performing their duties, Housekeepers are expected to replenish linens and supplies, report any maintenance issues or safety concerns encountered during their rounds, and uphold the safety protocols concerning the use of cleaning products and personal protective equipment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience a plus but not required
  • Ability to read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship

Job Duties

  • Clean guest rooms according to property standards including floors bathrooms kitchenettes and furnishings
  • perform deep cleans on rooms after guest departure including all surfaces linens and appliances
  • replenish linens towels toiletries and other room supplies
  • remove trash clean floors dust surfaces sanitize bathrooms and restock housekeeping carts
  • report room maintenance issues safety concerns or damages to the General Manager
  • ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas are kept organized and secure
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of common areas as assigned
  • follow all safety procedures including proper use of cleaning products and PPE
  • perform other job duties as assigned
