The role of a Residential Apartment Cleaner is integral to maintaining the high standards for which Case is known. This full-time position, based in Norman, Oklahoma, involves preparing vacant apartment units for new residents by ensuring they are immaculately cleaned and ready for occupancy. Additionally, this role includes the daily upkeep of community spaces such as model apartments, offices, clubhouses, laundry rooms, and fitness centers. The Apartment Cleaner will play a direct role in enhancing residents' living experiences by ensuring that every area they frequent is clean and welcoming.

Key responsibilities include assessing the condition of apartments and common areas, reporting supply needs to management, and thoroughly cleaning all fixtures, surfaces, appliances, and floors. The cleaner will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of office and administrative areas, including trash removal, dusting, and window cleaning. Because some properties may include Corporate Suites, the role can also encompass specialized tasks such as cleaning and changing dishes, linens, and soap supplies. The Apartment Cleaner must be detail-oriented, physically capable of performing demanding cleaning tasks, and able to communicate effectively with property management and residents.

Job Requirements

  • Six months of experience in apartments and/or residential cleaning
  • Able to communicate with property manager through written and oral instructions
  • Must be able to read, speak and understand English for business purposes
  • Must be able to read and write instructions, short correspondence, memos and service requests and converse professionally
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation including criminal record search, employment verification and drug screen
  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assess the condition of the apartments and common areas to be cleaned each week and notify the Property Manager of necessary supplies
  • Clean all fixtures, counters, cabinets, windows, ovens, bathrooms, blinds, floors, and appliances including areas underneath refrigerators and ovens in vacant units
  • Submit completion reports to the Property Manager after cleaning each apartment
  • Perform touch-up cleaning in vacant units as needed
  • Clean the models, office, clubhouse, laundry rooms, and fitness centers daily
  • Keep office areas tidy by emptying trash, vacuuming, cleaning windows and baseboards, and dusting desks and computer areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of clubhouse refrigerator, cabinets, and janitor closets and mop clubhouse floors as necessary
  • Ensure all windows, doors, and vents are clean
  • Prepare coffee and keep supplies well stocked daily
  • Complete additional job-related tasks as assigned by the Property Manager
  • Manage additional responsibilities for Corporate Suites including cleaning and changing dishes, linens, and soaps when applicable
