Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of assigned guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel brand standards
- Clean and reset guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all spaces throughout the hotel contribute to a clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest environment
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and resolve concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
- Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and supply areas
- Safely and properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with OSHA and hotel guidelines
- Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and safety concerns
- report deficiencies promptly
- Transport linens, trash, and supplies to and from designated areas efficiently
- Remove trash and debris from assigned areas and ensure proper disposal and recycling practices
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, stairwells, public restrooms, and other common areas as assigned
- Identify and report lost and found items in accordance with hotel procedures
- Ensure security of assigned keys and uphold guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, team members, and leadership to support smooth operations
- Support housekeeping team members and assist in other areas of the hotel during peak business demands
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards, maintaining a professional appearance at all times
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or suspicious activity to leadership in a timely manner
- All other duties as assigned
