Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
2-5 years housekeeping experience preferred
ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
willingness to occasionally work earlier or later shifts
willingness to work all scheduled shifts regardless of weather
readiness to be trained as a housekeeper in Assisted Living Building
reliability and punctuality

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
2-5 years of housekeeping experience preferred
ability to follow instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
experience with seniors and dementia preferred but not required
good communication skills
attention to detail

Job Duties

Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
cleaning resident and employee areas and bathrooms
dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures
moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement
washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
seeks out areas requiring cleaning
takes initiative to complete the task
performs additional housekeeping duties in the Assisted Living Building as needed
