The full-time Environmental Services Technician position at the CHA Somerville Campus offers the opportunity to work in a role that directly impacts the quality of care delivered within a healthcare setting. This evening shift position requires a dedication to thoroughness and attention to detail, as it involves cleaning patient rooms, performing hard floor and carpet care, and employing specialized terminal cleaning techniques in operating rooms. The position operates on a schedule of 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, including rotating weekends and holidays, contributing 40 hours weekly. Employment in this role is represented by the SH Laborers 381 union.
