This job opening is for the position of Housekeeper at Rancho del Sol and The Crossings Apartments located in San Diego, CA. This full-time role is vital in supporting the maintenance team by ensuring that all common areas, vacant units, and amenities are clean, safe, and welcoming. The housekeeper contributes to the overall appearance and operational excellence of the apartment community, enhancing residents' experience and satisfaction. The hourly pay rate ranges between $20.00 and $22.00, and the position comes with a full benefits package.
The housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning various areas such as leasing offices, clubhouses, restrooms, models, amenities, and vacant units. In addition to housekeeping duties, the role involves inspecting and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, assisting with make-ready tasks, managing cleaning supply inventory, and completing necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Adherence to safety protocols is crucial, along with attending safety meetings and reporting any hazards or incidents to maintain a safe working environment.
This position requires a strong customer service focus, building positive relationships with residents, and responding to their needs with respect and professionalism. The housekeeper will also perform other assigned duties that support the property management maintenance team. Ideal candidates have at least one year of hands-on housekeeping experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities. Physical fitness is important due to the need to occasionally lift weights up to 50 lbs.
