Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to follow guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to handle pace and pressure of fast-paced environments
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution
  • Strong communication skills
  • Desire to serve and assist guests
  • Availability to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Punctuality and reliability with clock-in and clock-out procedures
  • Provide sufficient notice for absences
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality or related consumer-facing field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Clear verbal communication skills
  • Desire to serve guests energetically
  • Ability to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Answer incoming calls using approved friendly greeting
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet every guest with a smile and by name while cleaning
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and attending meetings
  • Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms
  • Perform additional cleaning projects in storage rooms, public spaces, and guest laundry as assigned
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain personal grooming
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Arrive and clock in/out on time for every shift
  • Follow all safety guidelines and operational checklists accurately
