The Housekeeper position at TownePlace Suites involves thorough cleaning, restocking of room supplies, and maintaining well-organized workspaces across the hotel. This is a physically active role that includes responsibilities such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing for extended periods, walking considerable distances, repetitive motions, and lifting. Candidates must be physically capable of meeting these demands safely and effectively. Furthermore, the position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet hotel operational needs.

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work cooperatively to achieve high guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support groups and events at the hotel
  • Use relevant technology for each role
  • Answer all phone calls with friendly service and approved greetings
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests courteously while cleaning
  • Complete operational checklists with 100% accuracy each shift
  • Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform with proper grooming and a nametag
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to go beyond traditional roles
  • Collaborate to create a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking supplies and attending meetings
  • Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift
  • Perform additional cleaning projects as assigned in various areas of the hotel
