Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Availability for full-time work
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate weights
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Effective English communication with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain up to four orders at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for the community and individual resident apartments including vacuuming and dusting
- Clean and defrost refrigerators, change bed linens, and empty waste baskets in resident apartments
- Perform deep cleaning focusing on carpets, windows, light fixtures, and more
- Launder all linens using provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests during meals, serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads
- Review menu with residents, take orders, serve meals and desserts
- Return serving cart to kitchen, assist with storage of perishable items, and deliver trays if needed
- Bus tables after meals, sanitize tables and chairs, and vacuum carpets
- Complete side work including replenishing supplies and cleaning coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as assigned
