Job Description
The Pennant Group, Inc. is a distinguished holding company consisting of independent operating subsidiaries that offer healthcare services through home health and hospice agencies as well as senior living communities across the United States. Each subsidiary functions as a separate and independently managed entity with its own management team, staff, and assets, ensuring specialized and localized care for residents and clients. The Pennant Group is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care tailored to meet the diverse needs of its communities. Their senior living communities represent a cornerstone of their services, dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through comprehensive support, compassionate care, and a vibrant community atmosphere.
Our senior living community, operating under the umbrella of The Pennant Group, Inc., is currently seeking a committed and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall ambiance of our community, directly impacting the health and wellbeing of our residents, their families, and staff. The position requires ensuring efficient, timely, and friendly cleaning services across resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, offices, wellness centers, and other designated locales within the facility. The successful candidate will play a critical role in upholding community standards for cleanliness and regulatory compliance, particularly concerning infection control, which is paramount in a senior care environment.
The Housekeeper is expected to embody the CAPLICO Core Values that guide our organization, which include Celebration, Accountability, Passion for Learning, Love One Another, Intelligent Risk Taking, Customer Second (Employee First!), and Ownership. These values serve as the foundation of our culture and operational philosophy. The ideal candidate will naturally resonate with these principles and demonstrate a strong customer service attitude by being approachable, friendly, and consistently willing to assist others. Adaptability and flexibility are crucial as resident needs may change frequently. The candidate must respect residents' rights and show personal initiative to perform duties without requiring constant supervision. Reliability in attendance and dependability in job performance are fundamental to success in this role.
Communication within the team and with management is vital; the Housekeeper must effectively address work-related concerns by engaging the appropriate parties and promptly report any resident issues to management. Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding resident and staff information is mandatory. Professional presentation with a neat and clean appearance is also required to represent the community effectively.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy a community-oriented environment, and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. The role typically requires one to three months of related experience or equivalent training, making it accessible for those looking to start or advance their career in senior living services. The Pennant Group is an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of employment. We invite qualified candidates who share our commitment to excellence and compassionate care to apply and join our team dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents every day.
