Job Description

Upper Crust Food Service is a well-established company known for its dedication to providing quality food and exceptional customer service primarily to Sororities and Fraternities across the country. Over the years, Upper Crust has built a strong reputation for professionalism, consistency, and unparalleled service in the food service industry. Expanding beyond its culinary expertise, Upper Crust now proudly offers specialized housekeeping services tailored to the unique needs of Greek life communities nationwide. The company prides itself on creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming environments that support healthy, fresh living for hundreds of members in sorority and fraternity houses across various locations.

As a Housekeeper at Upper Crust Food Service, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of residential spaces within Greek life housing. This position is designed to offer a balanced and manageable work schedule, avoiding late nights and excessive weekend hours, which is somewhat rare in the hospitality sector. Housekeepers are responsible for tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and other general residential cleaning duties. This role embodies the company's commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction by ensuring every space is spotless, hygienic, and inviting for residents and visitors alike.

The Housekeeper position at Upper Crust is a unique opportunity for individuals who take pride in attention to detail and are passionate about creating safe and healthy living environments. You will be supported with competitive benefits including paid time off, holiday time off, paid vacations, and a competitive 401K plan with company match. Health, dental, vision, and even pet insurance are part of the comprehensive benefits package, emphasizing the company’s dedication to the well-being of its team members. Upper Crust values the role of housekeepers as essential contributors to the quality of life and overall experience enjoyed by their clients, and this is reflected in their supportive work culture.

The company encourages candidates with a working knowledge of cleaning appliances and proper use of cleaning agents, and who are capable of obtaining relevant certifications (such as OSHA or CMI) to apply. Additionally, maintaining a valid driver's license and proof of individual auto insurance is required due to the nature of the job. With preferred qualifications such as a high school diploma or equivalent, along with 1-2 years of customer service and housekeeping experience, candidates can find a rewarding and stable career path with Upper Crust Food Service. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift, bend, kneel, push, pull, and stand for extended periods while using vacuums or mops.

Overall, joining Upper Crust Food Service as a Housekeeper means becoming part of a respected company with a strong market presence and a commitment to creating livable, healthy spaces enriched by dedication to customer service and workplace standards. If you are detail-oriented, motivated, and enjoy making a tangible difference in people’s day-to-day living environments, this is the perfect opportunity to advance your career in housekeeping with a reputable organization.
