Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One-year related experience in housekeeping or similar environment
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as mangle, iron, washer and dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums
- Capable of reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions
- Availability to work full time Monday through Friday with rotating weekends
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and resident care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job training preferred
- Able to operate cleaning equipment such as mangle, iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc. as required
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights
- Clean public areas and resident's apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
- Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
- Perform all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
- Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas
