Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or similar cleaning experience preferred
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use equipment regularly
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role at a full service hotel, hospital, casino, or residential setting preferred
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive manual labor tasks
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs
  • Professional, well-groomed, and courteous appearance
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum or push a cart regularly
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work varied schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure

Job Duties

  • Clean stay-over and check-out rooms, changing sheets and replenishing towels and amenities as needed
  • Thoroughly clean and inspect rooms including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, floors, and furniture paying close attention to details
  • Vacuum rooms, empty trash, restock amenities, and organize housekeeping closets
  • Respond quickly to guest requests, follow chemical safety rules, and handle hazardous materials properly
  • Report suspicious activities and hazardous conditions to Security
  • turn in found items to Lost and Found
  • Maintain high guest relation standards and assist with requests for additional items
