The role of Housekeeper - General Cleaner at Hilton Hawaiian Village involves more than ensuring that guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months of customer service experience
- Flexibility to work full availability including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to support team culture
Job Qualifications
- At least six months of customer service experience
- Preferably experience with hotel housekeeping
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Demonstrated integrity and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards
Job Duties
- Keep guest rooms spotless by cleaning all areas including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and tracks
- Refresh linens and amenities by removing dirty items and replacing them with fresh ones
- Restock and organize supplies to ensure the supply cart is fully stocked for efficient service
- Report maintenance needs by identifying and communicating room issues for prompt repairs
- Follow all health and safety regulations and hotel policies
- Provide friendly and professional interaction with guests and team members
- Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information
