Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • must have a positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • must work well in high-pressure and stressful situations
  • effective listening and conflict resolution skills
  • strong communication skills for clear information conveyance
  • desire to serve guests with hospitality
  • willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • punctual arrival and adherence to clock in/out timing
  • must clock in and out for breaks
  • provide sufficient notice for call-outs
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
  • must be able to follow all other job-related instructions and duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • contribute to great guest satisfaction scores through teamwork
  • handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
  • support all hotel events and groups as needed
  • understand and utilize relevant technology for the role
  • answer incoming calls with friendly service and approved greetings
  • keep all work areas clean and well-organized
  • pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces to maintain hotel cleanliness and safety
  • greet guests while cleaning to maintain hospitality
  • complete operational checklists with 100 percent accuracy every shift
  • provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • wear a clean approved uniform and remain well-groomed with a nametag and smile
  • communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond traditional roles
  • collaborate to create a welcoming guest environment and positive workplace
  • complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and attending meetings
  • thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift
  • perform additional cleaning projects as assigned in storage, public spaces, and laundry areas
  • maintain physical working demands including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting as required for tasks
  • follow all job-related instructions and perform assigned duties promptly
  • clock in and out accurately for shifts and breaks
  • provide sufficient notice for call-outs as directed by supervisors
