Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to completion of two years of high school
  • Ability to walk and stand throughout the work shift
  • Ability to push, vacuum, reach, bend, and stoop during daily work activities
  • Capability to lift 25 to 35 pounds intermittently during shift
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work weekends, especially Saturdays and Sundays
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to provide courteous and friendly guest service

Job Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision

  • Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform various hotel housekeeping services to maintain clean guest rooms according to established standards
  • Visually inspect rooms to help identify maintenance items needed
  • Assist guests by providing linens, terry, amenities, or information as requested
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 service attitude
  • Maintain a clean and happy environment for guests and teammates
  • Help with laundry and clean public spaces when necessary
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints
