Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must possess sight or hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately
- Must function independently with flexibility and personal integrity
- Must be able to work effectively with other personnel
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the facility including medical and physical examination
- Must be able to operate hydraulic chairs, wheelchairs, hair dryers, curling irons, hampers, and other equipment
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a height of 5 feet and carry it a minimum distance of 50 feet
- May be necessary to assist in evacuation of residents during emergency situations

Job Duties
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping activities according to federal, state, and local standards
- Maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner
- Operate hydraulic chairs, wheelchairs, hair dryers, curling irons, and hampers
- Push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a height of 5 feet
- Assist in evacuation of residents during emergency situations as needed
- Follow all guidelines and directives from the Administrator or Director of Environmental Services
- Maintain personal integrity and work effectively with other personnel
