Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior cleaning experience in residential or apartment community settings preferred
Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Ability to use cleaning equipment safely and effectively
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends when required
Must be able to work in environments with dust, trash, cleaning solvents and fumes

Job Qualifications

Prior cleaning experience at apartment community preferred
General cleaning experience required
Ability to properly use vacuum and other cleaning accessories
Ability to treat residents and co-workers respectfully
Good physical stamina and ability to perform extensive physical activity
Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail

Job Duties

Washing windows inside and out
Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping
Dusting
Cleaning bathrooms top to bottom
Cleaning kitchens top to bottom
Shampoo carpets including make-ready’s and scheduling renewal cleanings
Performing other cleaning and housekeeping duties as required by Community Management
Weekly housekeeping of short-term corporate apartments including vacuum, dust, bathroom and kitchen cleaning
Laundry for short term corporate apartment supplied linens and towels
