Job Requirements

  • One year of experience in a hospital or hotel setting required
  • Ability to work full-time night shift schedule including rotating weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks involving bending, lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace rules
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of experience in a hospital or hotel setting required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting and moving furniture
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
  • Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
  • Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
  • Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
  • Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
  • Cleans metal fixtures and fittings
  • Empties and cleans trash containers
  • Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
  • Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
  • Wipes down glass surfaces
  • Makes up beds and changes linens as required
  • Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
  • Responds to guest queries and requests
  • Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses
  • Contributes to team efforts
  • exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
  • Performs other duties as assigned
