Job Requirements

One year of experience in a hospital or hotel setting required
Ability to work full-time night shift schedule including rotating weekends and holidays
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks involving bending, lifting and standing for extended periods
Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff
Willingness to adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace rules
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year of experience in a hospital or hotel setting required
Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting and moving furniture
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
Cleans metal fixtures and fittings
Empties and cleans trash containers
Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
Wipes down glass surfaces
Makes up beds and changes linens as required
Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
Responds to guest queries and requests
Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses
Contributes to team efforts
exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
Performs other duties as assigned
