Job Requirements
- Housekeeping experience desirable

- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to move, traverse, and position self to reach corners on floors and high places
- Ability to observe conditions and maintain cleanliness
- Ability to maneuver carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters
- Ability to lift, carry and position loads of at least 25 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Capability to manually handle cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
Job Duties
- Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
- Be thorough in the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
- Change and inspect linens and towels daily, following the standards
- Develop knowledge and skills in the most effective cleaning methods
- Practice safety standards and be aware of safety hazards, properly reporting as found
- Commit to the equitable treatment of all associates
- Value everyone’s contribution to the team
- Respect hotel and guest property through proper utilization of equipment, supplies, and guest amenities
- Perform work on deep cleaning and preventative maintenance scheduled programs
- Use power equipment when applicable
- Observe precautions to protect hotel and guest property, report damage, theft, and found articles
- Work as a team to accomplish the goal of hotel cleanliness
- Make rounds through public areas to ensure cleanliness and tidiness
- Be available for other work as required
