Job Requirements

  • Doctor's statement verifying free from communicable disease
  • Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to climb, reach, bend, and twist occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of junior high school or equivalent education
  • CPI training certification
  • Minimum 6 months previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Knowledge of local health department, OSHA, and regulatory requirements
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain high standards of professionalism and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Perform daily cleaning functions as directed by supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of hospital environment
  • Collaborate with Food and Beverage staff for kitchen organization and preparation
  • Adhere to health, safety, and regulatory standards including OSHA and local health department guidelines
  • Provide courteous and respectful interactions consistent with hospital hospitality culture
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Comply with all hospital policies including professionalism in conduct and appearance
