Job Requirements
- Doctor's statement verifying free from communicable disease
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb, reach, bend, and twist occasionally
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and comply with hospital policies
- Commitment to uphold the hospital's culture of hospitality
- Availability to work both indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather and environmental conditions
Job Qualifications
- Completion of junior high school or equivalent education
- CPI training certification
- Minimum 6 months previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Knowledge of local health department, OSHA, and regulatory requirements
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to maintain high standards of professionalism and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning functions as directed by supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of hospital environment
- Collaborate with Food and Beverage staff for kitchen organization and preparation
- Adhere to health, safety, and regulatory standards including OSHA and local health department guidelines
- Provide courteous and respectful interactions consistent with hospital hospitality culture
- Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Comply with all hospital policies including professionalism in conduct and appearance
