Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • ability to work in various environmental conditions including heat and cold
  • availability to work Monday through Friday during scheduled shifts with occasional weekends
  • physical fitness to perform job duties
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous custodial or janitorial experience in a medical or corporate setting preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
  • physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
  • reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules
  • maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
  • use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
  • communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • perform cleaning tasks including high dusting, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, floor care
  • perform light maintenance duties as required
  • adhere to health and safety standards during all tasks
