Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- ability to work in various environmental conditions including heat and cold
- availability to work Monday through Friday during scheduled shifts with occasional weekends
- physical fitness to perform job duties
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous custodial or janitorial experience in a medical or corporate setting preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks
- strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules
- maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
- use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- perform cleaning tasks including high dusting, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, floor care
- perform light maintenance duties as required
- adhere to health and safety standards during all tasks
