Job Requirements

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment
ability to work in various environmental conditions including heat and cold
availability to work Monday through Friday during scheduled shifts with occasional weekends
physical fitness to perform job duties
effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous custodial or janitorial experience in a medical or corporate setting preferred
knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks
strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules
maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
perform cleaning tasks including high dusting, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, floor care
perform light maintenance duties as required
adhere to health and safety standards during all tasks
