Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or ged preferred
  • able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident centered environment
  • desire to work with seniors
  • compliance with community procedures and guidelines
  • ability to follow through on tasks with initiative
  • pass drug test and health screenings
  • complete required training
  • as applicable, sign driver job description for safety compliance

  • possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas
  • clean according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing fixtures and furniture
  • respect residents privacy and knock before entering rooms
  • maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
  • handle laundry by collecting, washing, drying, folding, and inspecting linens
  • assist care managers with resident care as needed
  • ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures
