Job Requirements

high school diploma or ged preferred
able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident centered environment
desire to work with seniors
compliance with community procedures and guidelines
ability to follow through on tasks with initiative
pass drug test and health screenings
complete required training
as applicable, sign driver job description for safety compliance

possess effective written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas
clean according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing fixtures and furniture
respect residents privacy and knock before entering rooms
maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
handle laundry by collecting, washing, drying, folding, and inspecting linens
assist care managers with resident care as needed
ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures
