Job Requirements

Ability to respond promptly to requests
Ability to enter guest rooms following procedures
Capability to replace amenities, linens, and terry
Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 pounds without assistance
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
Ability to perform fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination tasks
Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications

No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
No related work experience necessary
No supervisory experience required
Ability to follow detailed procedures
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team

Job Duties

Respond promptly to guest and department requests
Fill and transport housekeeping cart with supplies
Enter guest rooms following proper procedures
Replace guest amenities and supplies
Change linens and terry with clean items
Make beds and fold terry
Clean bathrooms and remove trash and dirty linens
Check appliances and room furnishings
Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
Follow all safety and security policies and report hazards
Maintain a clean and professional appearance
Welcome and assist guests including individuals with disabilities
Support team goals
Adhere to quality standards
Move, lift, and carry objects as required
