Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as hotel housekeeper or room attendant required
  • Availability to work part-time or full-time hours including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to work varied schedules based on hotel occupancy
  • Ability to work overtime during periods of high occupancy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established cleaning standards
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to clean a minimum of 13 rooms in 8 hours shift
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8 consecutive hours
  • Ability to safely lift 40 plus lbs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership
  • Extremely physical position with prolonged standing, walking, bending, carrying and lifting

Job Duties

  • Ensure that the standards of excellence for guestrooms cleanliness are followed
  • Attend all the daily line-up meetings in the housekeeping office
  • Report anomalies in the guestrooms to your supervisor or dispatcher
  • Keep the service areas and closets clean at all times
  • Maintain the maids cart organized at all times
  • Make the bed following the steps specified in the training manual
  • Clean the bathroom following the steps specified in the training manual
