Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • at least one year of work experience
  • at least 18 years of age
  • must be able to understand and speak English
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • work may be required in confined area
  • good customer service skills
  • must be able to maneuver in hotel areas, up and down stairs and reach above shoulder level
  • ability to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke

Job Duties

  • Ensure the integrity of guest rooms and the contents
  • clean assigned number of guest rooms according to company and department standards
  • responsible for cleaning and stocking carts
  • responsible for folding and delivering linen
  • delivery of all internal and external guest requests
  • maintain hotel hallways in between calls
  • report any repairs that need to be done in the guest rooms or hallways
  • make sure all items in the room are in working order
  • perform other duties as assigned
