Job Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
- ability to work flexible part-time hours including evenings
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions
- reliable transportation to Boston Medical Center location
- ability to understand and follow safety and hygiene guidelines
- willingness to contribute to team efforts and maintain professionalism
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping duties
- attention to detail and commitment to providing quality customer service
- ability to work part-time schedule including evenings

Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
- performs other duties as assigned
