Job Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in hospitality or a related service industry preferred
Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols
Strong interpersonal and guest service skills
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Must be physically capable of performing tasks including bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive hand motions, and lifting
Must be able to handle stressful and fast-paced working conditions
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Must be 18 years of age or older
Reliable punctuality and attendance
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to use technology relevant to housekeeping operations
Must adhere to company grooming and uniform standards

Job Qualifications

Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations
Effective listening, conflict resolution skills
Clear communication skills
Desire to provide hospitality and guest service
Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job
Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled times
Adherence to clocking in and out for breaks as scheduled
Providing sufficient notice when calling out of scheduled shifts

Job Duties

Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
Use guests' names when possible to ensure a warm welcome
Work collaboratively to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
Support all groups and events at the hotel
Use relevant technology efficiently for the role
Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greetings
Keep all workspaces spotless and well-organized
Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
Greet every guest happily with a smile while cleaning
Complete all operational checklists accurately and timely each shift
Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
Wear a clean, approved uniform, be well-groomed, wear a nametag, and smile at all times
Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with all team members
Demonstrate a can-do attitude willing to go beyond traditional roles
Collaborate with team members to foster a welcoming environment and positive workplace
Complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and tools
Attend morning stand-up meetings
Fold and assist with dirty linen in housekeeping laundry room
Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms each shift
Perform additional cleaning projects in storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and deep room cleaning as assigned
Ensure all front and back of house areas are well-organized and clean
