Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move items as required
- Availability to work full-time hours
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for community and individual resident apartments including vacuuming and dusting
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, change bed linens, and maintain linen supplies
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments and common areas paying special attention to carpets, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens using provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests and serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the meal cart
- Take resident meal orders courteously and serve meals and desserts
- Assist with storage of perishable food items and deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Clear dishes, bus tables after meals, sanitize dining areas, vacuum carpets
- Complete side work such as refilling sugar holders and cleaning coffee makers
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
