Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services meeting quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Compliance with safety regulations and infection control techniques
- Ability to handle multiple priorities

- Pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in health testing as required

Job Qualifications

- Experience providing housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment
- Ability to meet or exceed quality service standards

- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work semi-independently and follow procedures
- Commitment to teamwork and positive resident relations
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Clean according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming floors and carpets
- Sanitize and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
- Maintain equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles and collection areas
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens following approved laundry procedures
- Inspect linens regularly for wear and tear and address damaged linens
- Assist Care Managers with resident care when requested
- Practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
- Adhere to safety and risk management policies including proper storage of cleaning chemicals and compliance with fire codes
- Participate as an engaged team member and attend required meetings and training sessions
- Maintain compliance with infection control techniques and community procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
