We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene across our community. The position offers flexible employment options, including full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules, making it suitable for a wide range of applicants. As a Housekeeper at United Hebrew, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the health and comfort of our residents by ensuring that resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are meticulously cleaned and sanitized according to established protocols. The role requires both physical stamina and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of our team. Housekeepers will also be responsible for replenishing essential supplies, assisting with laundry duties, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.

  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items
  • willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
  • perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying trash
  • ensure all areas are maintained in accordance with health and safety standards
  • report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
  • replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning products
  • assist with laundry services as needed
  • follow established cleaning schedules and protocols
  • provide friendly and courteous service to residents and staff
