The role currently available focuses on custodial and maintenance duties across multiple residential and facility spaces within Vanderheyden Hall Inc. Responsibilities include comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, laundry rooms, and communal hall areas. - ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dishwashing
- attention to detail when inspecting for mold and ensuring supplies are stocked
- reliable and punctual

Job Duties
- Clean each sink and vanity
- clean each toilet
- clean each tub and shower
- clean windows and mirrors
- clean each floor
- throw away garbage and disinfect garbage can
- make sure there is liquid hand soap in the bathroom and paper towels
- check for mold and report
- load dishwasher with any dishes that are left in the sink
- if the dishwasher is full, put the dishes away and load the dishwasher as needed
- wash and disinfect the countertops, sink, and the dining room table
- wipe down all of the appliances including the stove doors and the exterior cabinets
- sweep and mop the kitchen and dining room floors
- sweep and mop each area (if needed)
- vacuum all rugs
- straighten each bedroom
- put away laundry only if child hasn't completed
- sweep or vacuum if there is a rug
- ensure each bedroom has a waste basket and is lined
- ensure beds are properly made with required linens including bed bug covers, fitted sheet and top sheet, pillow cases
- clean lint in filter of laundry machines
- clean laundry area
- empty laundry room garbage
