The position of Housekeeper at RPM Living is a vital role responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of exterior and common areas within multifamily residential communities. This full-time role involves maintaining the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing offices, parking lots, and other communal facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of custodial and maintenance duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, power washing, and cleaning of breezeways and other shared spaces. This position also involves collaboration with maintenance and management teams to uphold property standards and to foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.

Candidates will be expected to contribute to the safety and aesthetic appeal of the property by conducting inspections, delivering notices, and performing minor repair tasks such as interior and exterior painting. Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
One to three months related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking standing climbing stairs or ladders bending stooping kneeling and lifting
Ability to operate a computer keyboard mouse and other office equipment
Must be able to see hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
Must be able to occasionally lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally lifting heavier items with assistance
Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
Ability to work in confined spaces heights and potentially hazardous areas

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

Basic Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking standing climbing stairs or ladders bending stooping kneeling and lifting
Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Job Duties

Perform regular custodial duties around the property and maintain the common areas including sweeping mopping vacuuming dusting and removing trash
Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and Community Manager including picking up trash clean dumpster areas trash rooms and trash chutes blowing the parking area and sidewalks removing debris power washing
Thoroughly clean breezeways by removing cobwebs bugs in lights mopping floors power washing and wiping down doors and handrails
Collaborate effectively with maintenance team members other departments and external contractors to ensure seamless property maintenance fostering teamwork and cooperation
Assess property safety and cleanliness standards ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing resident well-being
Keep property in top-notch condition including maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds delivering notices to apartments and performing interior and exterior painting tasks
