The position requires working as part of a team focused on providing spotless, organized, and welcoming environments for guests. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, ensuring all spaces are immaculate and meet operational quality standards. This role demands thorough pre-cleaning duties such as stocking room supplies and tools, attending daily briefings, and managing linens. Throughout shifts, housekeepers are expected to maintain high standards of product consistency by accurately completing cleaning checklists and shift handover reports while promoting hospitality with friendly guest interactions. This role also involves supporting additional cleaning projects that might include deep cleaning or organizing storage areas to maintain the hotel’s overall environment.
The role is tailored for individuals who bring a can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for guest service. Those in this position must be able to handle demanding physical work, including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive movements, and lifting. Flexibility is key, as shifts might take place during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.
