Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three months of related experience
  • Ability to work night shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday
  • Effective communication skills including hearing and understanding speech
  • Visual acuity sufficient to perform all essential functions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation
  • Ability to comply with hospital safety, regulatory, and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
  • Participate in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
  • Keep assigned area fully stocked with necessary supplies like paper towels and toilet paper
  • Maintain stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
  • Maintain good customer relations at all times
  • Sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens as needed
