Job Requirements

  • ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • ability to work in various environmental conditions such as heat and cold
  • must be able to work Monday through Friday from 4:30pm to 12:30am

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous custodial or janitorial experience in a medical setting preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
  • physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks
  • strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • follow established cleaning procedures and schedules
  • maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
  • use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
  • communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • perform cleaning tasks including high dusting, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and floor care
