Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Record of completion for all education, licenses, training, and certifications required at time of hire
- Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
- Knowledge of handling hazardous materials
- Must be able to operate work equipment
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of proper handling of hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals

Job Duties
- Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors
- Uses proper cleaning techniques and procedures to prevent the spread of infections and disease
- Displays knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their use
- Handles waste disposal and transports waste to appropriate disposal areas
- Replenishes paper supplies and hand soap in bathrooms
- Performs routine and spot cleaning on carpeted flooring
- Cleans interior and/or exterior windows and mini blinds as assigned
- Maintains work areas, equipment, workstations clean
- Keeps adequate cleaning supplies and paper products stocked
- Orders supplies as needed
- Notifies maintenance and supervisors of any work requisitions
- Maintains professional and courteous relationships with staff, patients, families, and guests
- Attends meetings and training as required
- Completes and maintains accurate checklists and paperwork
- Ensures adherence to company policies, safety, sanitation guidelines, and employee handbook
- Performs other duties as assigned
