With a focus on exclusivity and refined living, this estate represents one of the most sought-after environments for experienced household staff who thrive in prestigious private settings.
The role of Household Service Manager or Chief Stew-Level Professional at this distinguished residence is crafted to meet the needs of a truly exceptional candidate. This is not a traditional domestic position but rather a comprehensive leadership role within the service team. The successful candidate is expected to bring a wealth of experience typically garnered in luxury yachts, five-star resorts, fine dining establishments, or private estates. They will serve as the linchpin in daily household operations, balancing a hands-on approach with team leadership and administrative oversight. This position requires excellence in hospitality, a fine attention to detail, and an ability to elevate the service experience in a smooth, polished manner.
The Household Service Manager will oversee the entire service team, leading with professionalism and fostering a culture of top-tier communication and consistent five-star service delivery. Coordination with the Director of Residences is essential, as this partnership ensures seamless operations and alignment with the household's high standards. The role involves active management of household inventories, including wine, pantry, linens, and supplies, utilizing digital tools like spreadsheets and apps for accuracy and efficiency.
Daily expectations include providing elevated table service for meals, guests, and events, assuring the household is always guest-ready. Light housekeeping responsibilities fall within the purview of the manager, particularly in service areas, including quality oversight of the cleaning team. Additionally, wardrobe management, including packing, unpacking, and organization during travel or seasonal changes, requires the manager's expert touch.
Maintaining the home’s impeccable order, cleanliness, and attention to detail is pivotal through regular walkthroughs. The Household Service Manager will play a vital role in event execution—from setup to service to breakdown—bringing grace and discretion to all interactions within a dynamic household environment. Cocktail and wine preparation skills are desirable, with training offered to enhance these capabilities.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $60-$65, with overtime paid for hours beyond a standard 40-hour week, along with excellent benefits. The work schedule generally runs Saturday through Wednesday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with Thursdays and Fridays off, and flexible adjustments during principal travel periods. The role offers a unique opportunity to apply luxury service leadership skills in one of Florida’s most prestigious private residences, with the support of a fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance plan, a 401(k) plan with a generous match, paid time off, and 12 paid holidays.
