The role available is for a House Runner within the Housekeeping team. As a critical support position, the House Runner serves as a CRCR Ambassador, embodying the company’s values and taking personal ownership of responsibilities essential to the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. This position is fundamental in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring all activities align with the hotel’s rigorous policies and AAA Four Diamond standards. The House Runner is entrusted with a variety of duties that contribute directly to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency, including stocking linens, terry, and amenities, setting up event spaces, and handling guest requests promptly and professionally.

Additional responsibilities include the removal of soiled linens and trash, assistance with special projects, cleaning of carpets and upholstered furniture using deep cleaning machinery, and managing the delivery of rollaway beds and other necessary items to guest rooms. This role demands a high level of diligence in monitoring cleaning supplies and maintaining security measures concerning assigned keys. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for the House Runner, who must interact with guests, management, and team members to resolve requests and complaints with patience and professionalism. Job Duties

  • Follow all AAA Four Diamond standards and hotel procedures and policies
  • clean carpets and upholstered furniture using deep cleaning machines
  • clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, walls, ceilings, and public spaces
  • turn mattresses and move furniture as necessary
  • sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors
  • collect soiled linen for laundering and remove trash collected by Guest Room Attendants
  • deliver linen, rollaway beds, and other items to guest rooms on request
