Job Description
Baywood Hotels is a reputable hospitality company known for providing exceptional service and comfort to its guests. Specializing in offering quality accommodations and hospitality services, Baywood Hotels maintains a professional and welcoming environment for guests and employees alike. The company operates multiple properties with a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction, continuously striving to exceed expectations through a guest-centric approach called 'It's My Pleasure' service philosophy. Employment at Baywood Hotels entails joining a team that values professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail, making it a distinguished name in the hospitality industry.
This position encompasses two vital roles within the hotel: Housekeeping Attendant and Shuttle Driver, each contributing uniquely to the guest experience and overall hotel operations. The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the hotel, including public areas, guest rooms, and exterior surroundings. Duties include routine cleaning, servicing of areas, restocking supplies, handling soiled linens, and assisting with deep cleaning. The role demands physical labor such as walking, standing, lifting, bending, and the operation of cleaning equipment, ensuring all premises meet the company's high standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
Alongside housekeeping duties, the Shuttle Driver role involves safely transporting registered guests and approved passengers to designated locations. The driver ensures vehicle safety and cleanliness through regular inspections, operates the shuttle while adhering to traffic laws and company policies, and provides courteous assistance to guests, including offering water and helping with luggage. Both roles require consistent modeling of the 'Baywood Ambassador' behavior, emphasizing professionalism, warm greetings, active listening, teamwork, and safety awareness.
Candidates for these roles should possess physical stamina, strong communication, and interpersonal skills, along with an ability to follow schedules and work independently or as part of a team. Educational preferences include some high school education for Housekeeping Attendant and a high school diploma for Shuttle Driver. Additionally, shuttle drivers must hold and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License. Experience in housekeeping or van driving is preferred to ensure quick adaptation and proficient performance.
Working at Baywood Hotels offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team focused on outstanding guest service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and supporting interdepartmental cooperation. This comprehensive role not only enhances guest satisfaction but also fosters personal and professional growth within the hospitality sector.
