Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects up to 75 pounds
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and company policies
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to request assistance when needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel maintenance is an advantage
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to project a professional and positive image of the hotel
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and lift up to 75 pounds
- Familiarity with safety practices related to cleaning chemicals
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain tile floors using wet mop, dry mop and extractor or buffer as per safety procedures
- Vacuum carpeted areas
- Clean glass doors and windows
- Dust all surfaces throughout the hotel
- Report all maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor
- Empty trash from housekeeper carts and all trash cans throughout the hotel and exterior
- Clean and restock public and associate restrooms
- Clean and reset meeting rooms including cleaning the bathrooms within meeting rooms
- Sanitize fitness center equipment
- Manage lost and found items by bringing them to housekeeping office
- Clean outside parking areas from trash and debris
- Perform snow removal on sidewalks and entrances
- Report any unusual circumstances to Housekeeping Supervisor
- Practice chemical use safety by never mixing chemicals and storing them in labeled containers
- Assist with delivery of supplies, cribs, and rollaway beds to guest rooms
- Assist with delivering luggage or packages to guest rooms when requested
