The company’s commitment to excellence places it at the forefront of delivering unforgettable experiences for audiences worldwide while supporting the venues and events with state-of-the-art infrastructure and services.
The House Manager role at Oak View Group plays a critical function as part of the theatre's public face, representing the organization directly to its audience members. This position is tasked with overseeing the smooth operation of the house, which includes managing both the lobby and the auditorium during showtimes. The House Manager ensures that all patrons feel welcomed and experience a safe, well-organized environment from the moment they arrive until they depart. They are responsible for answering patron questions, addressing complaints or compliments, and maintaining a positive atmosphere throughout the event.
An essential part of the role involves supervising volunteers and front-of-house staff, who often form the primary point of contact between the company and its guests. The House Manager leads the recruitment, training, scheduling, and coordination of these volunteers, ensuring they understand their duties fully and uphold the highest standards of customer service and safety. This management ensures that all volunteers and ushers are clear on emergency procedures, seating arrangements, and policies such as late seating or photo guidelines.

It also provides part-time benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions, highlighting Oak View Group’s commitment to supporting its employees’ financial futures. This position remains open until July 24, 2026, reflecting a long-term opportunity to be part of a prestigious organization within the live entertainment industry. The House Manager not only acts as a leader within the theatre but also works closely with internal teams like the box office manager, technical coordinator, and event coordinator to guarantee a seamless, professional experience for every production.
