Job Requirements

  • High school education desirable but not required
  • 1+ years of experience as a House Attendant or comparable position desirable
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions
  • Good command of the English language
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to maintain customer focus
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to follow corporate and brand standards and procedures
  • Sound working familiarity with safety and security procedures and ability to operate commercial housekeeping equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Clean all public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells, and public restrooms
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and window frames
  • Vacuum carpeting, upholstery, and drapery
  • Clean and shine all glass and metal surfaces
  • Patrol hallways and remove newspapers, service trays, trash, and soiled linens
  • Stock public restrooms with supplies and maintain housekeeping cart
  • Respond to guest inquiries courteously and professionally
  • Assist guests with luggage
  • Deliver and retrieve supply orders and room items
  • Report unsafe or broken furnishings, equipment, or fixtures
  • Assist Room Attendants with heavy items
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
