The Hilton Garden Inn Jeffersonville Louisville North is currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Overnight House Attendant to join its team. This role is vital to maintaining the hotel's high levels of cleanliness and overall guest satisfaction during the overnight hours, specifically from 11 pm to 7 am. The Overnight House Attendant is responsible for ensuring that key public areas such as hallways, stairwells, public restrooms, and elevator sections remain spotless and welcoming throughout their shift. This role requires a person who is attentive to detail, physically capable of performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks, and able to work efficiently as part of a hospitality team.
In this overnight position, the attendant's duties include removing trash from vending areas, cleaning floors and walls, and maintaining the upkeep of service elevators. Moreover, the attendant supports room attendants by supplying clean linens and managing the soiled linen system, which includes segregating and transporting these linens to the laundry. Assisting in organizing room attendants' carts is also a key responsibility, along with ensuring that fitness center equipment is wiped down and towels are restocked daily.
Maintaining a pristine environment extends to walking assigned hotel areas to pick up debris, cleaning spills, and removing marks from walls, contributing to a safe and appealing atmosphere for guests and staff alike. The attendant must also be proactive in reporting any carpet stains or maintenance needs to the housekeeping office. Beyond cleaning duties, the role involves maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor to enhance guest interactions and represent the hotel's welcoming atmosphere. Other special assignments may be delegated by management as needed to support hotel operations.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Experience working in hospitality or housekeeping preferred
- Ability to work overnight shifts from 11pm to 7am
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor

Job Duties
- Remove trash from vending areas
- Clean floors, walls and machines in vending areas
- Clean service elevator areas and remove trash
- Provide clean linens for room attendants
- Bring all soiled linen to laundry and separate it
- Help room attendants organize and clean carts
- Pick up debris in hallways
- Clean fitness center, wipe down equipment, and restock towels in fitness center daily
- Walk assigned areas to remove any large items and trash from hallways
- Clean spills and marks off hallway walls as needed
- Report any carpet stains or work orders to housekeeping office
- Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude with guests at all times
- Other tasks assigned by management
