As a House Attendant, one is expected to assist with maintaining well-equipped guest rooms by working closely with room attendants to manage linen, clean guest rooms as needed, and keep storerooms stocked and orderly.   • prior experience with the handling of cleaning chemicals
  • excellent customer service skills
  • previous housekeeping or general cleaning experience

Job Duties

  • assess quantities of stock in storeroom upon arrival and restock inventory if necessary
  • assist room attendants including removing linens and trash
  • assist with cleaning guest rooms and making beds as needed
  • transport dirty linen from departed rooms to laundry department
  • transport clean bath and bed linen from laundry to storerooms
  • keep storerooms clean, free of trash, and organized at all times
  • deliver irons, ironing boards, roll away beds, cribs, etc. to guest room upon request
  • operate trash compactor and cardboard baler
  • pick up and return to storage any previously used guest requests found in rooms or hallways
  • communicate with management for any special requests or duties
