Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in housekeeping preferred
  • Previous hotel experience preferred
  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to push and pull carts and equipment up to 250 pounds
  • Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 75 pounds

Job Duties

  • Removing trash from work areas to the loading dock/dumpster and removing trash and linen from cleaning carts and housekeeping closets
  • Reporting any linen shortages or other discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor
  • Maintaining each storage and distribution area ensuring they are clean and organized
  • Distributing linen and supplies to designated areas in the hotel in accordance with established par levels in each area
  • Delivering miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest rooms and delivering linen and supplies to guest floors
  • Making up and delivering rollaway beds and baby cribs
  • Maintaining cleanliness of guest corridors including sweeping and washing floors, vacuuming carpet, cleaning walls and windows, dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning elevators and tracks
  • Deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the scope of duties, based on business needs
