This position is with a reputable hotel known for its commitment to guest satisfaction and maintaining high standards in hospitality services. The House Attendant role is essential within the hotel's housekeeping department, supporting the room attendant team by maintaining a constant supply of clean linens and necessary supplies, ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations. This position involves all stages of linen processing which includes collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading laundry machines, folding, storing, and delivering linens efficiently. Additionally, the House Attendant is responsible for cleaning the laundry machinery and surrounding areas to maintain a hygienic workspace.
Beyond linen duties, the House Attendant plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness of various public areas within the hotel including restrooms, lobby, pool area, hot tub area, exercise room, and meeting rooms. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and the ability to perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting and moving sizeable loads of linens and supplies. The position requires working independently with minimal supervision while adhering to the hotel’s strict standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
The House Attendant's duties include washing, drying, and folding linens and towels according to hotel management instructions, maintaining laundry equipment by cleaning dryer filters daily, and sweeping and mopping laundry floors. The attendant also ensures that all linen carts and linen closets throughout the hotel are adequately stocked, and that dirty linens and towels are properly sorted and maintained.
Public areas cleanliness is also a significant part of this role; the House Attendant is tasked with cleaning and restocking public restrooms, pool and hot tub areas, meeting rooms, and the exercise room. Additionally, they assist in keeping hotel grounds free from clutter and garbage and are responsible for emptying garbage cans located in public areas. Special projects such as deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, and floor care may be assigned, requiring flexibility and willingness to contribute beyond routine duties.

Job Duties
- Wash and dry all dirty linens towels rags etc as directed by management
- clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment as trained
- fold linens towels and stock linen carts as required
- sweep and mop laundry floors storing all linens off the floor
- remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts
- keep laundry carts clean and free of debris
- stocks all linen closets throughout the hotel as applicable
- strip vacant guest rooms of linen and garbage
- clean and stock public restrooms
- clean and stock pool and hot tub areas
- clean meeting rooms
- clean and stock exercise room
- assist in maintaining public areas such as grounds free of clutter and garbage
- empty public area garbage cans
