The role of House Attendant is a vital part of Highgate's operational team, located at the La Quinta Colorado Springs - South/Airport property at 2750 Geyser Drive, Colorado Springs, CO. This hourly position offers a competitive pay rate of $15.25 per hour. The House Attendant is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of all assigned areas and equipment within the hotel. This includes duties such as buffing marble floors, shampooing carpets and furniture, handling luggage assistance requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction through courteous and attentive service. The role also includes delivering items to guestrooms, such as express checkout packages and newspapers, which enhances the guest experience. Attention to emergency procedures and maintaining hotel equipment in proper working order are essential aspects of the position. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
  • must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
  • ability to stand during entire shift
  • must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner

Job Duties

  • clean guestrooms as needed
  • have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures
  • maintain hotel equipment in proper working order
  • maintain storage of hotel equipment in proper area
  • complete special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
