The Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center, managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, is situated in College Station, Texas. This property features 250 guest rooms, 23 versatile meeting rooms, and 35,000 square feet of meeting space, welcoming a broad spectrum of guests, conferences, and events. The Housekeeping Department at this property includes roles such as Room Attendant, House Attendant, and Lobby Attendant, all working together to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards for guest rooms and public areas. The current recruitment for part-time House Attendants offers shifts mainly between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with the schedule varying based on business needs, including weekend shifts. Compensation starts at an hourly rate of $14.00, increasing to $15.00 after six months, and pay is distributed biweekly. Job Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience desirable
  • Ability to work part-time between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, including weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain the cleanliness of assigned guest floors by high dusting of walls and vacuuming
  • clean and polish guest and service elevator door tracks
  • Dust hallway lights
  • Wash hallway windows
  • Maintain ice and water station areas on each floor
  • Assist Room Attendants with heavy lifting, bed stripping, and trash removal in each room
  • Ensure that linen closets remain stocked with all guest room supplies and collateral
  • Responsible for removing trash and soiled linens from Room Attendants carts throughout the day
  • Responsible for cleanliness of elevator landings
  • Responsible for tile and carpet area cleanliness in guest hallways
  • Clean emergency stairways, including sweeping and mopping and cleaning of light fixtures and windows
  • Responsible for the care of equipment and machines
  • Constant awareness of safety hazards (i.e., broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons) and report to a supervisor
  • Follow all training procedures outlined in the "Bloodborne Pathogens Program."
  • Practice safety standards at all times
  • Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers at all times
