The available position is for a Housekeeping Attendant who will play a critical role in ensuring that all public areas of the hotel are impeccably clean and well-maintained according to the hotel's rigorous standards. This role is vital in delivering the superior guest experience that the hotel promises. The housekeeping attendant will work closely with other team members to inspect and clean assigned areas, manage linen and trash disposal, and uphold safety and sustainability practices. With a compensation of $21.00 per hour, this role offers a clear growth path towards supervisory or guest service management positions such as Housekeeping Supervisor, Guest Service Agent, Executive Housekeeper, or Front Office Manager.
This position requires a dedicated individual who can consistently perform cleaning duties, respond courteously to guest inquiries, and contribute positively to guest satisfaction scores. During peak periods or staffing shortages, the attendant may also be called upon to work as a room attendant, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Key responsibilities include greeting guests with warmth, inspecting and cleaning hotel corridors and public spaces, managing linen logistics between floors and the laundry collection site, and reporting any maintenance concerns. The role demands adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective gear, safe handling of cleaning chemicals, and compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards. Moreover, the attendant will actively participate in the hotel's EarthView sustainability program, reflecting the hotel's commitment to environmental responsibility.

Job Duties
- Greet and acknowledge guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- Inspect assigned areas and perform cleaning tasks accordingly
- Collect trash from the service landings and dispose of in outside trash dumpsters
- Vacuum and dust guest corridors
- Pick up bed and other linen from hotel floors and transport to the laundry collection site
- Deliver clean linen to assigned sections
- Report maintenance issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas
- Respond to guest inquiries and assistance
- Work as a room attendant when staffing shortages occur or during peak periods
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
